massive devaluation of USD in the near future. Massive devaluation of USD will make exports cheaper, which will allow US to export more of her products to China. Just like Germany. Current volatile currency (especially between USD and the Euro) movements can only means competitive devaluation between the USD and the Euro. Did I ever mention 99 % of all Shanghai taxis are Volkswagen model ?? The only way out for both regions of financial crisis is to export their way out of this mess. I am not sure if you have seen the New US currency. The new currency will be issued around Jan 1st, 2011. The new currency includes a $ 200 Bill, which means USD will at least devaluate 2-3 to one. Currency devaluation along with pay debasement will lower labor cost. Hence the term, the New World Economic Order. As US and Europe become the Exporting nations, and China becomes the consumer nation...hope this helps.. Idea

ja-ja-ja. devaluation will be but it will be devaluation of all currencies. there's also a significant drawback in your theory - there's no production in US, there's nothing to export except american dreams.

ps: what you see is not what you get.

I am a dentist by profession. I worked in Seattle, Washington from 1996-1999. All of my chairside dental assistants were from Ukraine and Russia. The Seattle dental clinic that I worked with truly resembles the United Nations. The owner is Filipino. My fellow dentists were from France ,Korea and Russia. I was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the US in 1975..

Traders in Asia Eye Russia Wheat Force Majeure
http://www.cnbc.com/id/38587748

Trading companies that have sold Russian wheat to millers in Asia are considering declaring force majeure on supply contracts after Moscow slapped on grain export curbs, traders said on Friday.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin issued an order banning grain and flour exports from Aug. 15 to Dec. 31, with a spokesman saying it would apply to contracts that had been already signed.
